Another thing I noticed from the weekend – Chelsea have worn their dark navy away kit on four occasions this season, against Wigan, Villa, Blackburn and Man City, and lost all of those games!

Utd’s kit looked dreadful yesterday with white socks. I think though that the white socks is more to do with the club’s preference to switch to white socks any time they play under floodlights (hence always wearing white in Europe).

Man Utd did it again yesterday – changing their socks because of a perceived clash with West Ham’s claret.

But if the socks clash, surely the shirts do too?

Back to the shorts clashing issue, did anyone see Fulham v Bolton on Saturday?

Bolton wore navy shorts with their away kit, creating a shorts clash, I presume that the referee thought white/black/white against navy/white/navy would have been confusing?

LOL! I don’t think we’re supposed to be. From what I understand, it’s supposed to be some kind of support system, applying pressure to ‘key areas’ etc…though aesthetically, it looks like someone’s lost the plot with the Vicks vapour rub!
