The new Welsh strip is yet another episode of the almost non-existent PR minds of the Football Association of Wales.

Anyhow the new away strip was launched last month for the friendly international match against Norway. As expected for a short-term kit, the design is the same template as the home strip, but in yellow with contrasting red trim, and feint print of the dragon on the body of the shirt. Strangely the Kappa logos on the sleeves and shorts look out of place in black with white outline.

I for one will be glad when the JJB deal is properly finalised and put into action. However, I'm still not sure what brand the Welsh team will be wearing, it could possibly be Umbro given the similar sponsorship deals that the likes of Everton, Rangers and Wigan have at present. We'll have to wait until August to see.
