2010-11 Kits

Posted by John Devlin

At last and just in time for the end of the season (!) I have finally completed all Premier League and Championship kits illustrations.

They can be viewed here:

If you have any comments on the kits or notice any omissions please leave them on this page.

Watford home socks should be yellow.

  2. Sean Churchill Says:

Great effort John. One issue I have spotted though is that the red WBA 3rd shirt has been worn with the white shorts and socks from the home kit this year rather than with blue as it was last season.

I was wondering what happened to Middlesbrough’s sponsor, thinking it had been abandondoned like West Ham with XL Holidays. However I found on Ramsden’s site that they have something of a unique deal:
Middlesbrough FC has signed a seven-figure, three-year shirt sponsorship deal with Ramsdens that will see the name of one of Teesside’s fastest growing businesses appear on the front of club shirts through to 2014.

An evolution from Boro’s successful monthly shirt sponsorships, the deal also includes Ramsdens’ logo appearing on club shirts throughout March, April and May of the current campaign in addition to the current four-month deal that runs through to the end of January.

    Awesome work, John!

Sean, isn’t it the white home shorts, and actually the red change socks from last season?

I know the Crystal Palace kits have received some criticism from fans, due to being templates, but I think they look great.

Umbro have done a great job with Swansea this season. Simple, but brilliant.

Also, I love the black and blue Portsmouth third kit. Actually, all three of Pompey’s Kappa kit look good.

On the negative side, what were they thinking with the grey and yellow Sheffield United third kit? Yuck!

Has it been worn this season?

  5. Sean Churchill Says:

Good point Adam. I stand corrected.

Interesting to see Van der Sar change his goalkeeper kit at half time, from jade to yellow, in the Schalke/Man United game, because United had filled in yellow on the team sheet, but decided to wear the jade kit.

Great work on the 2010/11 kits John.

Couple of small omissions – Bolton retained the navy/red away kit from last season as their third kit (possibly for the Blackburn match), and Cardiff City kept last season’s yellow away as third choice (used early this season and at Millwall).

Thanks for the comments everyone – I’ll get those updates put on. Bolton’s kits are a bit ineffective this year though aren’t they Jon if their navy kit is the most effective kit they could wear against Blackburn though
